ToneStream is a living, continually forming stream of very special sounds; it is designed to gently, yet profoundly, support clarity in the mind, ease in daily life, and peace in the body. 

Nothing else exists quite like it.

ToneStream plays continuously—a stream of ever-changing pure harmonic tones and unique sound arrangements that are arranged in the moment of listening. No two moments are ever the same. When you tap to play, you hear a configuration of sound that will never occur in exactly that way again. There is a balance of moment-to-moment uniqueness combined with occasional familiarity that make the present moment a safe yet alluring place to spend time.

ToneStream is not binaural beats! Nor does it prompt specific brainwave responses. It’s a distinct strategy, based on the inherent order of the harmonic series, for nervous‑system settling, emotional de‑cluttering, and gentle coherence.

It is very simple to use and designed for real life. No need to become a meditator or a mindful practitioner.  Just be you, listen when you can, when you want, when you need.

How ToneStream is Made

ToneStream is made from hundreds of improvisational recordings by Solu founder Michael Joly, with creative insights and direction from partner Alene Sibley. Michael plays real instruments in a thought-free, peaceful state, meticulously releasing any intentional musicality so the sounds can compose themselves in real-time, all the time. He reports it seems that his peaceful performance state is embedded in the performances and recordings, you can judge for yourself by listening. 

New sounds continue to be added, creating ever changing and unexpected intersections and layers, providing a stillness that travels from the moment of initial creation to your personal, fully unique listening experience.

 

The Founding of Solu

Solu launched in 2017 with the release of the singular n.o.w. Tone Therapy System (the world’s first, self-contained mindfulness audio device). We are a small team of dedicated collaborators brought together to build practical, lasting and EASY pathways to peace. Now we bring you ToneStream, but its full power comes alive only through you, the listener.

ToneStream is not passive audio. It is participatory, powerful peace.
